During the nineties, the Queen came to Canada four times: in 1990, alone, for five days visiting Alberta and Ottawa, Ontario; she returned for three days in 1992 for the 125th anniversary of Canada (and her 40th year of reign) and had two ten day trips in 1994 and in 1997. Prince Philip was with the Queen in 1994 and 1997. Since little visits were made in the 90's I will add that Prince Charles made a visit in 1991 with Princess Diana for a tour of Ontario. In 1996, he toured Manitoba, Ontario and New Brunswick. His latest trip to Canada was with his sons, Princes William and Henry for a private holiday in Whistler (BC) although they made an official visit in Vancouver. The Earl and Countess of Wessex opened the Western Canada Games in 1990. Princess Anne came for a tour of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia in 1991.
