Connecting Young Adults and Libraries

One great idea I took away is the Instant Winner Contest, in which the words "instant winner" would be put into the record for several books. Then when someone checks out the books, they would receive an instant winner prize. This idea has been done at other libraries successfully, and it is a great way to get kids to check out books.

I encourage anyone who is interested in library services to teens to attend one of Patrick Jones' workshops. He is very knowledgeable about the field, and he makes it a lot of fun.
