Library Response to the Tragedy

Use this time to reflect and learn, but be aware of others too. Kids and teens in particular may be more prone to depression due to world events than adults. Use the resources at your library to help the young people in your life deal with these events. See the ALA's resources guides to help you help your kids: Books on Terrorism for Teens, Resources for Children, their Parents, and their Educators, and Resources to Help Teens, Parents, and Teachers Deal with the Tragic Events of September 11, 2001.

Your public library will offer direction at this time to the resources you need. Share your concerns and watch your library respond.
