Resources: Tuesday, September 11, 2001If you're a librarian you've undoubtedly been getting many, many questions relating to the tragic terrorist attack on New York on September 11, 2001. The resources listed below are meant to provide help to librarians with questions from patrons, as well as be of use to teachers, students, and anyone else wanting to learn about the events that occurred and keep current on new developments. I recommend beginning with the resources listed under General/Comprehensive unless you have a particular information need that is served better by a particular category below -- a question on the Nostradamus prediction, for example. These are meant only to be a select few of the best resources out there. If you need more information I recommend Danny Sullivan's Finding Disaster Coverage At Search Engines General/Comprehensive The comprehensive resources listed first are great resources to give to patrons as a place to get started as they cover virtually every aspect of the events that occurred that day, and their implications. · Academic Info American Studies: Terrorist Attack on the United States This is perhaps the best site of the bunch.
