I guess Martin O'Neill knew what something we didn't because in the confusion, City took a free kick and Steve Claridge rifled it home! City had won with 4 seconds left on the clock. Hello Premier League and this time they've managed to stay there!!

In 1997, they overcame all the odds to become the Coca-Cola Cup Champions, and sadly, although they had a good run in this year's FA Cup, they were recently defeated. However, I'm going to whisper this bit, 'we're in the semi-final of the Worthington Cup!' Shhhhh!

Good Luck Leicester City, I miss watching you play dearly, but I sure don't miss the heart attacks!!

LCFC Web Site or shop online for Leicester City Merchandise As an update to this article, I've learned that the Blue Army were successful in their semi-final and will now play in the final of the Worthington Cup on Sunday Feb 27th at Wembley!!!

Once more the Foxes fans will walk up Wembley Way and boy, how I wish I was with them!! Sock it to 'em City!!

CONGRATULATIONS LEICESTER AND THANKS FOR BRINGING US ANOTHER CUP!! Yes, I'm immensely pleased to say that the Blue Army were victorious on Sunday, beating Tranmere Rovers 2-1 in a real thriller of a game! Well done also to Tranmere, I heard it was a terrific game, may you not be TOO disappointed!

City now has a new manager, Peter Taylor who is doing a superb job. As of March 2001, Leicester are fourth in The Premier League.
