Today is the last day of 1999, a new century is dawning, a new millennium approaching.
Are you concerned?

The thought of the year 2000 looming, is, I must admit, more than a little daunting! Afterall, we've been in the 1900's forever haven't we and it's all most of us have ever known? I know that announcing that I was born in the last century, makes me feel positively ancient, I've still not recovered from hitting and passing my 30th birthday!

Still, sadly in life, there are some things you just can't hide from, and of course all of the hype surrounding the millenium makes avoiding the New Year almost impossible! Unless of course, you wear a blindfold, sever connections without the outside world and hibernate until next Spring!

And so it is with GRACE that I present to you, my New Year's Eve article!

I considered many various themes before I began this article. I deliberated and debated back and forth. My initial thoughts headed in the celebrations direction, but personally, I believed that avenue to be exhausted! So despite my grace, mine is an act of rebellion, as I turn away from the year 2000, and present to you the 1900's! Come revel in nostalgia, as we reflect on the people and events that shaped our World and led us into the coming Millenium.
