Having worked on these articles for the past few weeks now, I am still amazed at the work of theISPR. Seeing each investigator's perspective of the investigation has been extremely enlightening and very interesting.
Shawn Roops' account of the evening in the question had me particularly fascinated, as did his description of his initial "brush" with paranormal activity. Shawn is the youngest member of the ISPR team and a previous small arms weapons instructor in the US Air Force. It was while stationed in England that Shawn encountered his initial rendezvous with paranormal activity. Shawn's military background in equipment and security makes him a valuable asset to the ISPR investigation team. I would also imagine that his military credibility could only serve to validate any ISPR findings. Shawn accomplishes this in his handling of various mobile instruments used during ISPR investigations. I will leave you now in Shawn's capable hands as he describes his role as SCI Investigator and team member of the ISPR.
"I had seen the tape from Belgrave before ISPR was asked to investigate and validate if there really was a ghost caught on video. The news story had made it all the way over to LA and so I taped the news story. The image on the tape never looked like a ghost to me, it was certainly odd looking, but it still did not look like a ghost. So, off we went to England. Originally the entire trip was solely for the purpose of the Belgrave investigation. However, seeing as we were to be in such a richly haunted country, we decided to conduct another 4-5 investigations. I already knew that England was haunted as my first real ghost experience occurred in Blunham, Bedfordshire. Whilst in the Air Force, I was living in a small cottage on some farmland in a small town. I loved the charm of the house, it was old and unlike anything I had seen or anywhere that I had lived. One day I came home to find that someone in the kitchen had made a pot of tea. All well and good, but I don't really drink tea AND I lived alone!
