Revolution to help
Dig your teeth into rocking news, releases, and more as we approach the holiday season-some of which reflect on the past to help in a time of tragedy, some reveal new directions, and others just rock the house, plain and simple.

Stone Temple Pilots Launch a Supportive “Revolution”
Getting inside the Stone Temple Pilot’s camp has never been so easy. They have recorded and produced an acclaimed version of The Beatles' song "Revolution" to help a national cause. Royalties and profits from the sale of the single will go to benefit the Twin Towers Fund, which provides assistance to victims and families of the World Trade Center disaster. The benefit single also treats fans to a behind-the-scenes peek at footage of the recording session. Arriving in stores on November 27, the Enhanced CD Single is a sure-fire winner for fans of STP, and will aide millions. For more information go to the STP web site… http://www.stonetemplepilots.com

Take Home a New Jewel in Time for the Holidays
The Alaskan-born diamond in the rough, Jewel, is gracing us with a new album. The singer/songwriter with the voice of an angel is releasing the much anticipated This Way on November 13. The first time co-producer’s new work spotlights her live performance style and songwriting skills. The songbird recently brought her voice to millions when she sang the National Anthem at the first game of the World Series in Phoenix on October 27. Knock ‘em dead Jewel! http://www.jeweljk.com

“Bush” Creates a Golden State, while Following the Speed Limit
Bush's new album, Golden State, marks the band’s return in true rock manner. The first single off the Brit-band's long-awaited CD The People That We Love is a rock radio hit placing #10, and still climbing, on Billboard's “Mainstream Rock” chart. For that ditty lead singer Gavin Rossdale writes about the large number of car accidents in the U.S. every year; ranting the lyrics “speed kills.” For Golden State the London-bred band returns to their brand of edgy, guitar rock. Bush is currently touring Europe after which they’ll head to the U.S. and Canada for the new year. http://www.bush-music.com

Saliva Topping the Charts “Every Six Seconds” and More
From the home of Elvis comes Saliva—with hard rock and hip hop in tow, Memphis will never be the same! It’s clear hard rockin’ but radio-friendly Saliva is carving a name on the music scene in more ways than one. The band’s Island debut Every Six Seconds—produced by legendary rock veteran Bob Marlette—has surpassed gold status and sales continue to rise. In addition, both singles Your Disease and Click Click Boom have seen a great response from radio. The Memphis gang has been touring with hard rockers such as Godsmack, Sevendust, and Fuel, and is currently on the road with Nickelback. They arrive at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on November 30. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it!
