“Strange Little Girls”—Tori Amos’ Latest Offering

Eclectic songbird Tori Amos has a wild new CD for her fans to dig into to. As always, she offers up her trademark twist on the status quo. For Strange Little Girls, she performs tracks written by Eminem, Neil Young and-believe it or not-Slayer. Amos has taken 12 songs written by men, then rebuilt the tracks and performed them from the viewpoint of 13 different female characters (one song features twins). The result of this innovative project arrives in stores September 18. For more information about Strange Little Girl (originally recorded by the Stranglers in '82), and Amos' fall tour, visit her official web site.
