Experience Hendrix in a Big WayRed House Tour: Traveling Hendrix Exhibit Fire, Foxy, and Haze are simple words, but when associated with Jimi Hendrix they bring on the rock aura of a timeless artist. His unique style is mirrored in today's fashion and music and now a truly unique experience is up-and-running to honor the legacy of Hendrix - a mobile, walk-through museum. The family of Jimi Hendrix is keeping his memory alive and well in many forms, the latest Red House Tour - a traveling psychedelic-painted, 18-wheeler housing a Hendrix tribute - rolls through major U.S. cities just like a rock artist would tour the country. This exhibit is free to patrons and features an expandable 53-foot long trailer so that fans can experience a museum-like setting. A highlight of the rocking convoy is an array of audio/visual clips including a newly remastered version of Hendrix's last major concert performance: Isle of Wight in August 1970. Also on display are vintage guitars, clothing, and gold and platinum records. Look for the 2001 Red House Tour in major cities through September: San Diego, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Chicago (to name a few). Hop on board this wild rig and simply experience Hendrix in a whole new way.
