What it does? Type any text in the text block (default: Suite101). This text will come under magical effect of star. Our tutorial articles have come to an end and now we are going to start our projects section. Above is a project shown we are going to create today so follow steps one by one. To download the .FLA file of this project, please click here. Step 1: Right click on stage and choose Movie Properties. Choose Background color with Hex number #009966 Step 2: Add three layers and name them “Input Text”, “Dynamic Text” and “Star” starting from top. Step 3: Select Star layer and draw a star as shown in the above movie and convert it into graphic symbol. Click this graphic star symbol and convert it into movie symbol. Finally double-click on star and it will let you in symbol editing mode. Click frame 10 and press F6. Rotate star by 180 degree. Similarly, click frame 20 and press F6. Rotate star this time by -15 degree (using Transform Panel). Select frame 5 & 15 one by one and choose Insert > Create Motion Tween. Double click rest of the stage to come out from the symbol-editing mode. In this step, we have created a star (movie symbol) that will rotate forever. Answer & Win! Step 4:
Select Star layer and add Guide layer. Select frame 1 of this layer and draw a wavy line as shown. Select frame 40 of this layer and press F5. Step 5: Now we set the motion path of this star to its guide layer. Drag star to left end of the wavy line so that it grabs to it. Select frame 40 and press F6. Be sure here that frame 40 is selected and drag star to right end of the line so that it grabs to it. Select frame 20 of star layer and choose Insert > Create Motion Tween. Step 6:
Select frame 1 of Input Text layer and draw a text block as shown. Select this text block and open Character panel (Ctrl+T). Choose following Font parameters: Font: Arial Size: 15 Color: Black Click Text options tab and choose Input Text from the pull-down menu. Select Border/Bg radio box. In the Max chars box, type 10 and in the Variable box, type “text” and finally press ENTER key. The typed string will be saved in the variable “text” to be next used by dynamic text. Select frame 40 of this layer and press F5. Go To Page: 1 2
