TWEENED ANIMATION - Tweening color | Shape tweening
Sometimes we need to reshape an object in more complex way. For this we use shape hints. For example above movie uses shape hints in reshaping between square and triangle. STEP 1: Click frame number 1 and draw a square. Align it center to stage. STEP 2: Click frame number 20 and press F6. Use Arrow Tool to reshape it to triangle. STEP 3: Click frame number 1 and press Ctrl+F to open Frame panel. Choose Shape from the Tweening. Again select frame number 1 and press ENTER to test the movie. STEP 4:
Now we use shape hints to control reshaping more precisely. Click frame number 1 and choose Modify > Transform > Add Shape Hint. A red circle with letter 'a' called beginning shape hint, will appear on square. Click this circle and drag it to middle of the left side of the square. Again choose Modify > Transform > Add Shape Hint. A new circle with letter 'b' will appear. Drag it to lower left corner of the square. Similarly add circle 'c' and 'd' at lower right and middle of the right side of the square. STEP 5: Select frame number 20 and adjust positions of the ending shape hints as shown in the figure. Shape hint 'a' and 'd' are at same positions. Click frame number 1 and press ENTER to test the movie.
