Caught Up In Cables

Cables aren't fussy to do once you get the hang of using a cable holder (or whatever else you prefer to keep the stitches that are waiting).

Aran type backgrounds, including favorites like Gooseberry and Honeycomb can be found here.

Traditionally knit in fine wool in classic colors, there is no reason why you can't vary that to your own liking. Small projects like hats, gloves, scarves and bags are useful starters. Hasn't everyone though, dreamed of creating a soft, chunky Aran sweater in double cream? Or perhaps a fisherman's Guernsey (gansey, jersey) in mist gray for your special one?

Next week it's some much needed clothing for the wee folk. And I do mean 1" tall!
