Dangers Of The Rain ForestIf hiking or visiting rain forests a good thing to remember is to watch even seemingly docile animals from a distance. This is especially true for a Cassowary. If they suspect that you are a source of food, they will seek you out and do anything to get what they can. It's fitting to note that the cassowary's are good swimmers, can run at speeds of up to 30 mph and can kill in an instant. If you get too close there may not be a way out. Don't get in the way!
