The Boxcar Children
The Boxcar Children is a popular mystery series that includes nearly 100 books. You can follow the adventures of Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny Alden. They were orphans who had lived in an abandoned boxcar in the woods until their grandpa found them. They have solved mysteries of all types from The Mystery of the Old Attic to The Poison Frog Mystery. Therefore, there's a mystery to satisfy all tastes. I read The Mystery on Blizzard Mountain - #86 and loved it! It was not only fun to think about snow in July, but to read about a haunted mountain. This mystery involves a ghost by the name of Stagecoach George, some suspicious townspeople, and stolen treasure. There are plenty of peculiar ghostly happenings in this tale that gave me goose bumps. Plus, the interesting characters and action keep you guessing until the very end. I highly recommend this book for mystery fans! SYNOPSIS: Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandfather, and they're setting off on a wild winter adventure! The Aldens are helping to map out a new trail on Blizzard Mountain.
