Halloween Mystery Sure to Cause a Scare!

Boo!
What are you going to be for Halloween? You'd better decide quickly because it is just around the corner. Are you going to be a ghost, a cat, or a clown? For this month's article, I found a mystery I would like to tell you about that involves Halloween. This spooky tale is called THE HAUNTED MASK by R. L. Stine. It is a book in the widely popular "Goosebumps" series.

Carly Beth had two choices for her Halloween costume. Her mother wanted her to be a duck, but Carly Beth didn't think a duck costume would scare anybody. Instead, she wanted to wear a gruesome mask, sure to scare anyone who stepped in her path. Carly Beth's friends and brother scared her all the time and now it was her turn to make them scream in fear. However, the mask she wore had a mind of its own, a very dangerous mind of its own.

Here is the book synopsis:

How ugly is Carly Beth's Halloween mask? It's so ugly that it almost scared her little brother to death. So terrifying that even her friends are freaked out by it. It's the best Halloween mask ever! It's everything Carly Beth hoped it would be. And more. Maybe too much more. Because Halloween is almost over. And Carly Beth is still wearing that special mask...

The ending of this story has a jaw-dropping twist. Check out this book during the Halloween season and enjoy a good scare. That is, if you dare!

Be safe on Halloween. Happy trick-or-treating!

Boo!

Yes, the Goosebumps series are sure to please so many kids. I'll have to check out "Headless Halloween". That is a really wonderful idea to give them books instead of candy!

Have a nice day. :) ...
