Rabbit or Vampire? You Decide!

Do you have a pet? You might have a dog, cat, or even a rabbit. What if your rabbit was a vampire? How would you know if your rabbit was a vampire? Would you look in its mouth for fangs or test whether it runs away from garlic? Maybe your dog and cat could help you figure out whether your little furry rabbit was a sweet lettuce nibbler or a scary vampire.

I'd like you to meet my friends Harold the dog and Chester the cat. They are the central characters of "Bunnicula - A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery" by Deborah and James Howe. In this funny, action packed mystery Harold and Chester are out to uncover the truth about the newest addition to their family - a white furry rabbit that likes to drink the color out of vegetables.

Harold and Chester think that Bunnicula must be a vampire. Bunnicula escaped from his cage one night. How could a normal bunny do that? Then they find a white tomato. Instantly Harold and Chester suspect that Bunnicula drank the "red" out of the tomato. It was the only way to explain Bunnicula's peculiar habits.
