The Magical Charm of Harry Potter

Do you ever wish that you could use magic to stop your little brother from annoying you or to stop your older sister from talking? Imagine if you could fly to Quidditch practice on your Nimbus 2000. What would the neighbors say if they saw you flying next to the school bus or talking parselmouth to a snake at the zoo?

These are the fantasies that draw us to Harry Potter. Whether you have read the first book, all of them, or have just seen the movies, this article is for you. Harry Potter is an adventurous series that helps us to understand growing up while having magical fun at the same time.

Each book gives us the opportunity to watch Harry, Ron, and Hermione deal with the same problems that we face in our own everyday lives. The strength of friendship is tested, honesty is valued, and interesting Hogwarts characters are involved in each story.

I'm in the middle of reading the latest book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I congratulate those of you that have already finished it. Please don't tell me how the story turns out. I want it to be a surprise! It is quite a long book that deserves a great amount of time to read. For those of you that are still reading this latest Harry Potter adventure or are reading one of the other books, keep reading. Harry Potter provides suspense, charm, friendship, and magic around every turn.

Want to know a little bit about me? I love to read and write. In fact, I am a children's author. My favorite books to read, besides Harry Potter, are mysteries.
