Heavy paper (1" x 7")
Stapler
Cut a strip of wide crepe paper for the body of the dragon. It should be about 3 1/2 - 4" wide and between 3 and 6 foot long (3 ft for preschoolers, longer for bigger kids).
Have the child dab an assortment of spots and lines on the crepe paper with a paintbrush. Let dry. The crepe paper can be hung on a
clothesline or other place while it dries. Make a copy of the dragon head in the picture on a standard 8" x 11" piece of paper. Color the dragon head as you wish. Cut out the dragon head. Staple the 1x7" piece of sturdy paper on the back of the head for a handle. When it is dry, staple the wide body crepe paper strip to the back of the dragon head. Grab the handle with one hand and hold your dragon high. Original craft from Kid's Domain Crafts
