Face it: Kids love pizza! Put a twist on pizza and make these fun pizza sticks. Your kids will have a great time helping you unroll the dough and sprinkle on the toppings. And get creative with the toppings! If your child loves black olives, add them! Want more cheese? Go for it! The possibilities are limitless. And if you add a salad, you've got a nice lunch or even a quick dinner.
1 package (10 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
3 tablespoons melted margarine
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (8 ounces) pizza sauce, warmed
Unroll the pizza dough and place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Press to form a 13x9-inch rectangle. Brush with the margarine. Sprinkle with the cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Using a sharp knife, cut the dough lengthwise into strips to form breadsticks. Make a cut in the middle to make about 24 sticks. Bake at 425 degrees F about 11 minutes, or until lightly browned. Serve with the pizza sauce.
