Cake-Mix Cookies!© Donna Smith
Nothing quite compares to baking cookies with your kids. But face it, with our busy schedules, it's hard to find the time to make dinner, let alone a batch of homemade cookies!
But don't worry, it is possible to whip up a batch of great-tasting cookies with your kids and get out of the kitchen in time for the early news. These cookies are great because they start with a boxed cake mix. Simply dump the ingredients into a bowl, let your kids mix it up, then bake! I can smell them already... Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookies
2 eggs Combine the eggs, vanilla, shortening and cake mix. Beat until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F about 9-11 minutes. Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool slightly, about 2 minutes, before removing them to wax paper to cool completely. You'll find more delicious recipes to make with your kids at Recipes Today!
