Hidden Veggies!

Getting some kids to eat vegetables is like pulling teeth. Sneak some veggies into your child's mouth by disguising them. This cream cheese vegetable spread is as appetizing to look at as it is to eat.

Vegetable Cream Cheese Spread

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup grated yellow squash
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup grated zucchini squash
Dash of each: garlic powder, onion salt, garlic salt and pepper

Combine everything is a bowl. Mix well to combine.

Serve as a spread for crackers or as a sandwich filling. Also great spread on flour tortillas, rolled up, then cut into pinwheels.

Be creative with the vegetables! Finely chopped broccoli florets would work great. For adults, chopped green onion would add a nice flavor. Finely chopped jalapeno would add a great kick!
