Chicken salad is a wonderful dish to let your kids make. If you have a younger child, make the salad from canned chicken. Show them how the can opener works, then let them dump the chicken into the bowl. Help them add the rest of the ingredients, then give them a spoon - they’ll love mixing their creation, and later eating it.
Here are a few not-so-traditional recipes for chicken salad to make with your children.
