If you're like me, you're constantly searching through magazines, newspapers and cookbooks looking for something different for dinner. But, how often do you look for a recipe for a different drink to serve? With the summer upon us, keeping your child hydrated is important. Try some of the different drinks and add a little spice to your summer!
Fruit Fizz
100% fruit juice Mix equal parts of fruit juice and sparkling water. Serve over ice.
Strawberry Banana Cooler
2 cups unsweetened orange juice Blend everything until smooth. Makes about 4 servings.
Vanilla Fruit Smoothie
1 cup frozen strawberries, bananas, or peaches Blend everything until smooth. Makes 1 serving.
Fruit Smoothie
1 cup fat free vanilla yogurt Blend everything until smooth. Makes 2 servings.
Purple Cow
1 pint (2 cups) vanilla ice cream, softened Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Banana Milkshake
1 cup milk Blend milk and banana together for a delicious milkshake.
Orange Delight
1/4 cup orange juice concentrate Blend ingredients together in a blender. A banana can be substituted for the yogurt.
Carrot Drink
1/2 of a 10.5-ounce package firm silken tofu Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until very smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve with a straw. Go To Page: 1
