Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Have you ever had one of those weeks that everything you make is horrible? Well, I had one of those last week. On Monday I made this chicken and orzo dish from a woman's magazine. The picture of the dish looked so good! All day long I was showing my kids the picture and telling them, "This is what Mommy is making tonight, doesn't it look good?" Later that evening I was holding the picture up beside the prepared dish saying, "This is supposed to look like that?" I followed the directions to the letter. I did everything right. There was no way the people in that magazine's test kitchens made this recipe and came up with the dish pictured on page 122. No way. Theirs was a nice skillet dinner. Mine was a big soupy mess. On Tuesday I made this beef dish. I won't even tell you the comments I got from the family on that one. On Wednesday I was so afraid to cook, we went out. Well, good news! On Thursday I redeemed myself. I made one of the best dinners we've had in a long time around here. It got raves. They were fighting over the last piece. My husband called all over the United States telling all his family members about it. My kids cried. It was a beautiful. OK, so maybe it didn't go that far, but it was raved about. And it was very simple to make. Here's the recipe for Chicken Alfredo Pizza that won me such rave reviews. Chicken Alfredo Pizza 1 tube refrigerated pizza crust Unroll pizza dough onto a metal pizza pan or pizza stone.
Press out to cover the whole pan. Bake at 425 degrees for
about 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove. While
the dough is cooking, coat the chicken with the flour. Heat
some olive oil up in a skillet and cook chicken until done and browned on both sides. About two minutes before the chicken is done, add half the garlic to the pan and cook along with the chicken. Remove and shred or cut into small pieces. Spread the Alfredo sauce on the pizza crust. Top with the chicken, sprinkle with the remaining minced garlic, then top with the mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle top with green onions. Bake about 7-8 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
