Tomato-Avocado Salad

2 ripe avocados, sliced
3 large tomatoes cut in wedges
1 8 oz. bottle Italian dressing

Mix all ingredients and chill about 30 minutes before serving.

Easy Biscuits

2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup milk

Mix ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour out on floured waxed paper. Pat the dough out with your hands until dough is not sticky (add a little flour if necessary). Fold double. Cut biscuits with a biscuit cutter, or use the top of a drinking glass. Bake on a cookie sheet at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Cherry Cobbler

2 cans Cherry pie filling
1 Yellow cake mix
1/2 cup of melted butter

Layer in a 13x9 inch baking pan in the order given. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes. Great served with vanilla ice cream on top!

Yogurt Pie

4 small containers yogurt, any flavor
1 container Cool Whip
1 read to serve graham cracker crust

Fold yogurt and Cool Whip together. Pour into crust. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
