Raisin Pie

Supplies

3 cups of raisins

2 pie shells

Method

Place 3 cups of raisin in a saucepan.

Add 1 cup of water.

Cook for 20 minutes.

Have an adult help you thicken the raisins using cornstarch and water.

Set to the side and allow to cool.

When raisins are cool, add them to one of the pie fillings.

Put the other pie crust over the top and cut a fancy pattern in the crust.

Place in the oven at 375 until the pie crust is cooked.

Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Serve

Note: This pie can be served hot or cold. I love it cold, right out of the refrigerator.
