Grow a Millenium Garden This Year

Jan 1, 2000 - © Linda Mazar

The Blue and Silver Version: I was told that the theme colors of the new millenium are blue and silver (who gets to pick these out anyway?). An easy millenium garden could be made up of plants these colors arranged in a pleasing way and maybe labeled with a plaque that says 2000 or such if you feel the need to explain or announce your garden.

Some blue varieties might be: Victoria Blue Salvia, Heavenly Blue Morning Glories, the blue Ageratums (floss flowers), Sunny Border Blue Veronica, perennial blue Salvias, blue Hostas, etc.

Some silver varieties may be: Lamb's Ears, Artemesias, Snow-in-Summer, Rose Campion, etc.

Whatever type of garden you choose to grow, have fun and have a wonderful year 2000.
