Gifts for Young Gardeners

Dec 1, 1998 - © Linda Mazar

- Bird houses, birdbaths, bird feeders, paints for decorating rocks or other outdoor things, stepping stone kits, sundial, flamingos, the new REALMINGO flamingos, or the white snowmingos, would be fun gifts for their gardens.

There are so many ideas, but I'm running out of space. Older kids might like tools and books to learn how to propagate trees and shrubs. Perhaps your child wants to grow birdhouse gourds and make his/her own birdhouses. Maybe the supplies for making a bean teepee would be fun. Whatever you choose for the young gardener in your life, I'm certain they will learn more about plants and gardening.

Have a wonderful Holiday season!
