Continuing an educational crafts theme, as this is the month of September, the following sites are more fun, less academic, but still a great place for kids to visit, learn, create, and enjoy. If anyone has a great site they think would make like to reference, please let me know. Enjoy!
Kids Domain offers these educational craft ideas at http://www.kidsdomain.com/craft/_edu.html . Try the Juggling Sticks, they were simple to make and provided hours of solid entertainment. KinderArt has a great collection of lessons and projects for the little hands and active minds, http://www.kinderart.com/litles.htm . Always a great resource. For the craft side of nature, with an educational twist, try EarlyChildhood's http://www.earlychildhood.com/Crafts/ind... a great short list of activities for kids. If music helps you learn, try these simple and easy musical instrument projects from the Activity Cupboard, http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/7997/... . Who would have thought the ice cream could be educational not just delicious. Try Ben and Jerry's New England Village paper construction set, http://euphoria.benjerry.com/fun/ne-vill... . Learn a little history, architecture, and enjoy.
