Continuing an educational crafts theme, as this is the month of September, the following sites are more fun, less academic, but still a great place for kids to visit, learn, create, and enjoy. If anyone has a great site they think would make like to reference, please let me know. Enjoy!

Kids Domain offers these educational craft ideas at http://www.kidsdomain.com/craft/_edu.html . Try the Juggling Sticks, they were simple to make and provided hours of solid entertainment.

KinderArt has a great collection of lessons and projects for the little hands and active minds, http://www.kinderart.com/litles.htm . Always a great resource.
