Fun sites with nothing in common

It's time for some spring cleaning so without further ado here are some sites that I thought were neat and fun but didn't make it into an article yet because they just didn't fit the topic.

Irene's Winnie the Pooh page has lots of Winnie the Pooh clip art and images.

I just got a nice online birthday card from my brother. Blue Mountain Arts always has a good selection of animated greeting cards for every occasion. Be sure to check out their Father's Day cards.

The Encyclopedia Mythica has articles on mythology, folklore and legend from all over the world. It's packed with content but doesn't have too many pictures so it may appeal more to older kids.

Field trips for Kids lets you go on a virtual field trip. You can study hurricanes, deserts. volcanoes or salt marshes without ever leaving your chair.

Flag Tag at the UN site is a game where you match the flag to the country. Give it a try and tell me what you think.

Last year a second grad class did a project on hatching emus. There is also a link at the bottom of the page on other Internet projects from Loogootee Elementary West. They have finished school for the year so you probably won't get a reply if you e-mail them for more information.

Be sure to visit all the Father's Day articles on Suite 101 and Kids on Suite101. This page features links other kid-friendly topics and pages on Suite 101. This week we welcome the NASCAR kids page to Kids on Suite 101. Don't miss this page of race car images.

If your need some more kid-friendly links, don't neglect browsing through some of my past articles. Our special limited time preview of the additional links for non-members is still available. Feel free to browse through.

I hope that's enough sites to keep you busy for a week. See you all next week!
