St. Patrick and Iditarod© Wayne Dawe The first site that I have for you to visit is Facts page on St. Patrick. I decided to put this site first because it was one of the few sites that mentioned St. Patrick driving the snakes from Ireland. St Patrick's day and St. Patrick - Keypals Club International are two additional sites with St. Patrick information for you. If you still want more, then St. Patrick's day at teacherzone.com has a listing of sites of interest to every St. Patrick's day aficionado, not just teachers. To round out my St. Patrick's day sites, I offer you a leprechaun limerick by Justin that I found at kidpub.org. Oops, almost forgot one - don't miss Absolutely Green and its very nice kids section. This year's race started on Mar. 7 and should run about 10 days so you're not too late to get involved. Iditarod '98 is a good site for kids about the race and Live video from KIMO 13 has video from the race start. As a tie-in to Women's History month at Suite 101, I'd like to draw your attention to Women in Alaska's history, Women of the Iditarod which features four of the women who have competed. A mixed bag of links this weeks, but before I go I have one more extra
special link for you. One of our editors found this cute little talking
shamrock. That's it for now. See you all next Tuesday. If you're a first time
visitor, don't neglect browsing through some of my other
