Happy New Year

(Note: The Internet is a dynamic place and web sites can come and go quite quickly. This is one of my older and some of the links may not work anymore. If you find that this is the case I invite you to look at some of my more recent articles. My links section has my favorite links from past articles and is checked regularly for non working links. Wayne)

Another year is drawing to a close and I'd like to thank everyone who has come by to read my articles. I hope that they have proved both entertaining and informative. If this was a good year for you, I wish you more of the same in the new year. If it wasn't such a good year then I hope things turn out better for you next year.

Enough of the maudlin stuff, on to some sites to usher you into the new year. There are other traditons being celebrated at this time of year and Chanukah MegaSite 1997 explains the Jewish Chanukah tradition and observances.

Another site that explains the tradtions of a different culture is Kids' Japan. If you're curious about the life of kids in Japan this is the site to visit, you may even pick up some Japanese.

The Henrietta Leavitt Flat Screen Space Theater is a site that I wrote about a while ago which has moved since the original article. It's still highly recommended.

The last site I have for you this week is The Canadian Kids Home Page. What particularly attracted me to this site was the listing of Canadian sites. As a Canadian, I appreciate Canada-centric sites. I wonder if that one is going to get by my copy editor.

Well, by the time you read this I'll be off in Ottawa so have a safe and happy New Year celebration. See you next Tuesday.
