The genesis of this week's article occured while I poked around the Microsoft web site and ran across Alien Head in the dynamic HTML gallery. If you're not running Internet Explorer 4, don't bother going to this link. If you do, you get a version of Mr. Potato Head that lets you drag the pieces around in real time. For those who don't have Internet Explorer 4, a more mundane version that uses an apple as the base can be found here. When you reach the page with the pieces and the big apple picture, look at the bottom for the link to instructions. I suspect the vegetable used to be a potato until Hasbro called. Don't forget that Mr. Potato Head, something every kid should have, is a registered trademark of Hasbro. Mr. Potato Head is one of those games that has stood the test of time. If games aren't your thing then the Mr. Potato Head home page is a page where an ardent Mr. Potato Head fan guarantees the most comprehensive Mr. Potato Head site on the net.
