A few links to hold you over until December

This is going to be a pretty short article this week. The amount of time I can afford to commit to my articles here is decreasing and I'm afraid that I can't keep up with the rigour of writing weekly so I've decided to change to publishing a new article once a month.

To help bridge the gap and prevent withdrawal symptoms I going to throw a few quick links to you this week.

I like popcorn and The Popcorn Institute has popcorn recipes, games and even a Shockwave popcorn game.

All Soul's School drew my attention to their website so now I'm pointing it out to you.

Here's one that's a little different Pumkin' Chunkin' describes a contest where people build machines to see how far they can throw pumpkins. It's a bit weird and certainly something you shouldn't try at home but it was too interesting to pass up.

SAE's World in Motion Kit has sone neat experiments you can try at home or show your teacher that make learning about science interesting and fun.

Just because I won't be back for a few weeks doesn't mean you should disappear for that long too. I will be updating my links section between articles and I have over 90 past articles that are chocked full of great links and there are lots of other great kid friendly articles at Suite101.com.

Be sure to come back and check on the progress of my java Christmas game which will be unveiled here first.
