For this week I promised you Halloween links and Halloween links. I will deliver, but I need your help. There are never enough Halloween sites to keep everyone happy so be sure to send me your favorite sites after you have looked over what I have to offer.

A word of caution
Halloween is about scary things. Some of these sites may be too scary for small children so check them out yourself before letting the smaller kids browse alone.

A late addition is Halloween Hollow. This site has lots of great Halloween goodies including mazes, midis, party ideas and a whole lot more.

Halloween Clip Art provided most of the artwork for my Halloween Invaders game which is described in more detail below.

The Virtual Haunted House, created for kids by kids, also deserves a visit, as does Marsha' s Halloween page - though some of the links don't work.

One last Halloween site before I take off for the night is another site called Virtual Jack-O- Lantern. This site lets you design and view your own pumpkin in VRML.

I spent so much time this week working on Halloween Invaders, my java game for Halloween, that I just ran out of time to find more links so I need your help. Let me know what are you favorite links for Halloween sites and I'll add them to this article or future articles. Since I plan to continue offering Halloween sites right up until Halloween, this means you should keep checking back until Halloween to find the most up-to-date Halloween links for your scary pleasure.

When you gorging on all your Halloween treats don't forget to support UNICEF. To quote from the e-mail I received from UNICEF: "In UNICEF's special Halloween Fun section, children and grown-ups alike can participate in plenty of Halloween fun and mischief while learning more about UNICEF and its life-saving programs. Last year more than 100,000 visitors had a "frightfully" good time while UNICEF raised awareness of its programs. This year visitors can

  • send festive online "treats" to friends: online coloring books, puzzles, downloadable wallpaper and cute animations of pumpkins and ghosts
  • surprise friends with a devious online "trick:" alarm them (temporarily) with a melting computer screen, or stump them with a tricky riddle
  • order UNICEF collection carton and educational materials online for the classroom or neighborhood
"

Caverns of Blood has great animated GIFs, scary sounds and midis guaranteed to make your Halloween WWW page or party a scary success. The witch laugh sound you heard if you had Java enabled when you entered this page came
