Castles

This week we going to explore some of the Castles of the Internet. Castles@nati onalgeographic.com has a neat castle you can explore and if you visit Microsoft.com you can download the Sandcastle Builder Game which is part of the Magic School Bus CD-ROM game. If you want to find out more about building sand castles check out Sand Castle Central. Sandyfeet.com has some pictures of spectacular sand castles.

If you'd like to explore some Welsh castles or read about Castles of the Middle ages then you can get there from here too.

You may have seen Cinderella's Castle if you have ever visited Walt Disney World. Cinderella's castle was based on Castle Neuschwanstein in Germany.

It's been a really busy week for me so I'm afraid I not going to write very much more this week. Do you know of any good castle sites you'd like to recommend to the other visitors here? If you do you can either send me email or add the URL to the discussion at the bottom of the page. To post to a discussion you must become a member at Suite101.com but becoming a member is easy and free. Just enter an email address and pick a password and that's it. We promise not to sell, give or otherwise divulge you email address to anyone. Be sure to ask a responsible adult before you give your email address to anyone on the Internet.

See you next week when I promise to have a much longer article with more fun links for you to enjoy.
