England's Saviour - Jane Seymour

Jane may never have seen her coronation as Queen, but she sure was buried as a Queen. Henry's own tomb was sitting ready for the king himself. Jane, Henry and England's saviour would see the tomb first and in doing so, she secured herself in Henry's heart and in Tudor history forever. Jane had quite simply, performed her duty for king and country splendidly.

If you're looking for an interesting discussion point about Jane Seymour then how about considering how she must have felt having to marry a king who had divorced one wife and executed another? Jane remember was in the Tudor court when Henry had his marriage annulled to Katherine and Anne stepped up to the chopping block. Being a lady-in-waiting herself to both of these Queens, Jane would have known firsthand and witnessed all that took place. Nobody really knows whether Jane welcomed marriage to Henry VIII or not, but surely even if she did, she must have had some pretty serious doubts and fear about her own future well-being? What do you think?
