So many places to see, so little time to see them. It's not exactly being there but electronic geography on the World Wide Web (WWW) can be fascinating. So many places to see, let's see them now.

The Geography Hotlist is hot with over 50 links to world studies sites including maps, flags and facts.

Oddens's Bookmarks is another amazing resource that immerses you in the world of maps and mapping. This electronic resource hosts more than 1,000 links and probably is the WWW's most complete resource for clickable maps and atlases.

This one is really special! The Great Globe Gallery shows you remarkably beautiful photos of earth from space. Breath-taking!

World Surfari takes you on a virtual tour of countries all over the world, from Japan to Jamaica. A new country is highlighted each month. In addition to learning about the history, society and people of each country, there are quizzes, a message center and online pen pals.

Kids' Web Geography Home Page, which is divided into two sections. Countries of the World links you to: The Virtual Tourist - tourist guides and pictures, World travel and World Flags. The Maps and Cartography section includes links to: Mapmaker, Mapmaker, Make Me a Map - an introduction to maps and cartography; Map Viewer - an interactive map of the world; Mars Atlas and more.

Countries.com Lists over 200 countries with statistical data and links to culture, travel, weather, and government.

Cool Places for Kids - Geography includes many fine sites such as: GeopediaOnline - country profiles with facts and data on geography, climate, people, religion, language, history and economy, Maps On Us - create your own personal map, Finding Your Way with Map and Compass; How far is it? and more.
