Third Jewel in LACMA's Crown

The museum has called the Madina acquisition a "third jewel in LACMA's crown." The Madina Collection was made possible in part as a gift from LACMA benefactor and Trustee Camilla Chandler Frost. Funds were also contributed by LACMA's Department of Ancient and Islamic Art.

"These beautiful and significant works of art will benefit all the generations who follow us, helping to build a greater understanding of the diversity of the world's cultures," said Rich.
