GrassCAM and More

Sit down and take a deep breath kids because I have important news to share with you! The Internet Playground has grass! Can you believe it? Ok, so I haven't appealed to the nature lover in you. Then how does some trivia sound? Bingo? Shockwave games? Hang man? Crossword puzzles? Prizes? Well since I see your ears have perked up I better tell you how you can find all this good stuff.

The "Amazing GrassCAM" and more can be found at Uproar.com. I found this site several years ago and have made many return visits because of all the different types of games you can play (I have a very short attention span and need the variety). So far I have seen over 17 trivia games (categories include TV trivia, sports, general, and entertainment), 2 bingo games, many crossword puzzles, a hang man type game and more. The link to the "Amazing GrassCAM" is something new (to me, any way) and I bet it will be there for some time (but I'm not sure what happens when the lawnmowerCAM comes out).

You have to register to use this site but I think that one reason why you have to do this is because they have to have a way of identifying and finding you should you win a prize. Some games have hourly drawings, some have daily, and I think there are even weekly drawings.

Most of the games at this site are quick and easy. The trivia games (are either 7 or 10 questions and you are not penalized if you get an answer wrong. To qualify for the prize drawings, all you have to do is score 1000 or 1500 points (depends on the game) and voila, your registered to win. And they really are easy - I even scored enough points in the Sports Trivia game (that should give you a hint about the generous scoring range). And you have a choice of playing alone or playing against others on some of the games.

If you have more time to kill I suggest going to the crossword puzzles, the hang man type of game called Puzzle-A-Go-Go, or the Bingo games. Another game, Picture This, has the potential to be played v e r y s l o w l y (depending on the players and your connection) but it's a lot of fun. You play this game with 2 to 4 others. You each get a turn answering a trivia question. If you answer correctly, a square of the picture puzzle is revealed. Then you get a chance to solve the puzzle. But you have to wait your turn. So it is a lot of fun but not a game for those with little patience.
