Summary: Film crews are forced to find new work during the strike.

This movie (available at www.ifilm.com) is all about the Screen Actors Guild strike, dramatizing how many actors are resorting to demeaning tactics just to survive, such as doing triple X movies or selling coffee and donuts. Don't expect deep philosophizing about the meaning of life. You don't find it here!

All you can look forward to is some sort of skits or bits pieces of how actors go through a major crisis like this one. Some of the skits are hilarious, some are worn-out or I'd seen these ones before. You watch this kind of Internet movie just for the sake of whiling away that extra 15 minutes you got.

I don't even know if the strike is over yet, all I know is that for Internet Movies, production is ongoing and I don't think there'll ever be a strike. There is so much variety of Internet Movies to watch these days (and for free, at that!) that you can be pretty choosy. But sometimes, because there are just too much out there, you kind of settle for what's available fast. Like for example, here in IFilm.com, it's the coffee shop attitude, serve it fast. You have to sign up for membership, though, but then that never takes too much time.

I have observed, though that Internet Movies are becoming longer and longer with the advent of high-speed Internet technology. Before, Internet Movie makers can only muster five minutes or so, but nowadays they are getting more and more ambitious.

I have one idea, though. If the SAG actors are still on strike or if there is likely to be another strike of this magnitude in the future, let me advise budding actors to try avenues for doing Internet Movies. They might not get paid too well yet, but I know that this kind of industry is just about to give a big kick.
