Stealing Is Fun!

Howdy. Zoner here, again. And I have a confession to make. I'm a thief. Brazen, unapologetic, crafty and determined. That's me! I steal all the time. From almost anybody. I work worldwide. In and out, no muss, no fuss. And I'm very successful at it. Never been caught . . . least not yet.

What do I steal? Why, images, of course. What ELSE would I steal? Nothin' I'd admit to here, that's for sure. But . . . IMAGES, now that's a different story. I'm PROUD of my thefts. I'd like to think that I'm a world class thief. Not because of the thefts themselves, but because of what I do with what I steal.

Lotsa folks tell me they see a really kewl image or graphic on a site that they'd like to have, but they don't know HOW to make it their very own. All that stops today! Today, I'm gonna teach you how to steal from the government, have fun with what you steal, learn from the experience, and even recycle your stolen goods. You up for it?

Here's the drill, Bill . . . we're gonna hit NASA where they live, sneak in, take a look around, grab and go! Our own little "space" mission. Cause they DO have some images that take up SPACE!

OK, just the facts, Jack. I'm gonna visit The NASA Shuttle Web and snag a couple of BIG images. I'm then going to save them to MY hard drive . . . that's the physical theft. It's a piece of cake from there to messin' with the images to the point I can either print them out, or even use them on my own web page.

Personal Information Alert!

I've got a soft spot for the Shuttles. I was still on active duty with Space Command, in Omaha, Neb., when the Challenger went down. It affected me deeply. Must have made an impression on the troops who worked for me, cause when I retired in '87, they gave me a framed picture of the Challenger, signed by all the folks I worked with. My single most valued possession after 20 years of military service . . . that picture is.

Anyway, this is the Columbia, and it's scheduled to fly on the 16th of April. I'm gonna grab an image of it being moved, and a picture of the crew. Two images. Actually four, and I'll get to that. But, there's a real bonus here, cause the images are DIFFERENT resolutions! A kewl thing NASA seems to do for the folks like me who print images out

I don't see anything wrong with making a copy of a CD for your car provided that you have paid for that CD to begin with. I always make copies of tapes for safety's sake. I don't want to be stuck wi ...
