January 2002
My plate is overflowing, and all of it good. My website development company is going excellently; we start our seventh year in April. I have to build a new design for my company's site, and rewrite all forty or so pages of content. A second business I've been working on with a partner all of 2001 looks like it will be built in Q1 2002. I'm already working on the financials, staff structure, knowledge base, and technical documents already. As CEO, I'll be overseeing the development and testing of the website, hiring and training the staff, and launching the whole new business. I'm taking an MBA online, and that's been more work and paper writing than I expected. I have other writing gigs, and I teach Photoshop and HTML at a local design school. Plus I have a great marriage, great dog, two great cats, a family of outside ferals I'm getting spayed and neutered, and I have hobbies when I get a minute to try and relax. It's all great :) but there is too much, and I need to let a few things go. My New Year's Resolution was to find a way to be less busy. I have only been writing monthly, but even with all month to get something together, it's been hard to find the time. It's Christmas-New Years week as I write this, and with seemingly nothing open or nothing going on, I can't even find an hour to go work out at the gym... and I don't even party or drink or do drugs, so it's not like I can't find the time because I'm hung over. :) I have plenty more to say about Internet Business, but no time anymore to invest in what is required of me as an editor here. So I take this time to thank everybody for reading. I've written sixty-three articles here over nearly four years. Whether you subscribed and checked in on me regularly, or just popped by for an article or two, thank you for taking the time to read what I had to offer on Internet Business. If you're interested, you can check the "publications" page on aswas.com to see where I'm writing, and you can always check the "clients" area to see when we announce the new company/website being launched (probably Q2). If you just have a question, you can email me on deb@aswas.com. Go To Page: 1 2
