LoveMorgan's Infertility Pages© Jamie Ervi
Three months into their marriage they received the wonderful
news that they were expecting their first child. She was ecstatic
but being military, he was more reserved. He was concerned over
the fact that he would deploy while she was pregnant. This turned
out to be the least of their problems. In the beginning of December 1994
she began spotting, but an initial ultrasound didn't reveal
any problems. It DID, however, reveal twins!
Their joy however was short-lived. The doctor called them that same evening to tell them that another look at the ultrasound revealed that she would miscarry those twins. As devastating as this whole story was, they never gave up the hope that someday they will get pregnant again! It has been 3 1/2 years and they are still remaining positive. She now channels her frustration and energy into an amazing inferitily web site! Known as LuvMorgan's Infertility Pages this site is a collection of support, inspiration, information, and help. The main page is very easy to maneuver and very understandable. It is doesn't have as many graphics as some pages for easier and faster loading but that is more convenient for an information page. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page for the infertility webrings she belongs too! After hearing of their difficult beginning, she doesn't want to just leave you feeling sorry for them. So she has created an online journal with which you can follow their journey through infertility. She shares in details with us her feelings about her laparoscopy, hysterosalpingogram, and IUI. Through this we get to empathize with her struggle to become a mother. The informative infertility links page is the perfect place to begin your own search for help. It contains links to place to ask questions of professionals or to chat with a fellow infertility sufferer. It will also lead you to sites that teach you about treatments and how to chart your basal body temperature. You can even find a place to search for a doctor or an egg or sperm donor. It is a wonderful place to dive right in and get started on the road to parenthood. As you talk to friends and families about infertility you will discover something: there are a lot of myths out there. It can get very confusing about what is true and what isn't. That is why this page is so important. It takes the myths and gives you the facts to dispel them. Information is power! This page is just beginning but she welcomes any ideas and comments.
