A Four Year Old's Thoughts about Babies

Babies should nurse, but not bottles or pacifiers. You have to watch your babies lots of times if they do any accidents--bumping their head. If someone wants you to do things like watch your baby and not give it pacifiers and bottles, if someone watches the baby like if the mama has to work or something.

When a baby learns how to walk you should watch it more because it will do more different things because it will get it's head bumped and hands might get sqashed by things.

If your big child hurts the baby you've got to say, you've got to take them into their room and talk to them, say, "You shouldn't do that," very nicely.

If someone calls the wrong name to the baby and hurts it say, "No, don't do that," very nicely.

If the baby makes a mistake you have to take it away. Take it away but don't rip it out of their hand, just say, "Please can I have it," very nicely.
