PRINCE SAURAV SETS KANPUR ABLAZE.Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly enthralled vociferous capacity crowd at Kanpur with his artistic batting and devastating bowling performance. Ganguly asunder the back of the Zimbabwean innings with his second five wickets hauls. Ganguly and Agarkar shared nine wickets among them as both of them elicited high-class reverse swing, which had Zimbabwean batsmen under all sorts of trouble. Campbell and Madondo saw the new ball bowlers through with some purposeful batting but were outplayed by reverse swing from Ajit Agarkar. This marked the beginning of a collapse engineered by Saurav Ganguly. In the process there was some excessive useless appealing from the skipper as well as wicket keeper Vijay Dahiya that will land them in trouble. Guy Whittal reported the matter to Match Referee Bary Jarman over the wicket microphone on the ground demanding him to take action against the Indians for their ‘tantrums’. The punishment for showing dissent on field is yet to be decided but both Ganguly and Dahiya have received warnings from the Match Referee.
