Well, this is the one you've been waiting for, my great Arnold Schwarzenegger extravaganza!!! In my humble opinion, Arnold is one of the greatest actors ever! He was in so many great movies, that it's hard to believe.
First, the guy himself. His birthday is July 30th, same as mine. He started as a bodybuilder, but emerged as one of the greatest entertainers the world has known! His biographical information is at least partly mentioned on most Arnold sites, but to get the straight info, just check out the Internet Movie Database. I don't really agree with his Republican politics, and I think he might promote smoking a little too much, but those don't really matter. It's his work that makes him so cool. He has probably been in more mind-blowingly excellent movies than any other actor I can think of! The Internet Movie Database has a complete list of every one of his movies. I'm not going to cover them all, just the ones I really really love. The best general Arnold Schwarzenegger site I've found is The Schwarzenegger Chronicles, now down (sorry).
Well, let's start off with The Terminator and Terminator 2, probably Arnold's best known films. There are a few sites with great pictures from the film. The Movie BBS had a cool Terminator section, but unfortunately the Movie BBS has vanished without a trace. It's too bad too, it was a cool place. Another really fantastic site for Terminator pictures is The Terminator Movies Homepage! It has three huge galleries of pictures but no thumbnails, which would improve the ease of use a lot. Also, keep in mind that the site is at Geocities, so you might want to turn off your javascript to avoid annoying popups. I just recently found a great site with streaming RealVideo from T2, that you might also want to check out.
Arnold has done so many great movies, that it's hard to pick a favorite, but for me Commando is in the running for best Arnold movie! The shame is that there is practically nothing online about this movie The IMDB entry for the movie has info, but will only point picture seekers to the Movie Section of my site. There are links there to an image gallery that I put up, as well as some cool sounds from the movie. It's one of Arnold's best roles!
