Five Great Movies!

Greetings!

Welcome to my bi-weekly article about great entertainment images on the Web. In these articles, I try to point you all toward great sites that have lots of entertainment images.

OK, this time I'm going to cover where to get images from some of the best movies I've seen. I'll cover five this time, and probably more batches of five in the future. You may or may not like all of these movies, but they're all ones that I love, so that's why they're on the list. As well as links to great images, I'll also link all actor names in this article to their entry at the Internet Movie Database. This way, you can check out who they are, and what other movies they've appeared in. Feel free to comment on any of these movies, or any of the links I provide for them.

The first movie I want to point the way to is my all-time favorite. It's called They Live, and it's directed by the great John Carpenter. The link for this one was easy for me to come up with - in fact, it's done by yours truly. I found that there was very little representation for this movie online, so I took it on myself to create the best They Live site on the Web. This isn't just bragging either; search around, you won't find a site that is more comprehensive, or has more images from the movie! The movie is about an average guy (played by Roddy Piper) who stumbles onto a secret society of extradimensional beings who control the human race using subliminal commands. They can only be seen with the use of special lenses that I have duplicated with javascript on my site. Anyway, it's the best movie that I've ever seen, and I think you should check out the movie and the site.

They Live

Next is Strange Days, starring Ralph Fiennes and Angela Bassett. Fiennes plays a guy who deals in technology that allows you to fully experience a recorded section of someone else's life. The movie is set just before the turn of the millennium, and chaos and paranoia have just about taken over. It's kind of a hard movie to describe, but it really rules. There are some great pictures from the movie out there, but I think that one site is the best overall. It has some great pictures, and links to sites with more pictures.
