Gene Roddenberry's skeleton

Greetings!

Welcome to my article about great entertainment images on the Web. In these articles, I try to point you all toward great sites that have lots of entertainment images.

A successful writer dies. By all known logic, this should end his career. But no, he puts out two successful shows afterward with more in the works! Sounds like an Outer Limits episode? Nope, it's Gene Roddenberry's life (and afterlife) story. This guy'll still be making shows long after we're all gone. Now obviously they don't have his skeleton chained to a computer (at least I hope not), so how are they doing it? Well I figure they're rooting through his old stuff and adding some imagination. Like his keychain probably looked something like the ship from Andromeda, and he probably doodled a Taelon on a napkin once. The thing is that even though it seems silly to put a dead guy's name on a new show, they're pretty good so far.

Okay, I'll admit that I never watched Earth Final Conflict . I just couldn't get into the story, or figure out who the characters were and what they were up to. But since Space started showing reruns of the series I never miss it. I'll admit that it's kind of inconsistant, especially from season to season. But it's a cool show overall. Finding pictures from the show is a rough task, there's not much out there (at least that I could find). There's a little photo gallery that the company must send out to all the stations that carry the show, cause it's on a lot of different tv station sites. It's okay, but small. The only other spot I've found any real collection of EFC pics is Starbase 147's EFC Page. There are more pictures, but they're real small. And The Ka'arpaaj has lots of pictures, but they're small too. If you know of a really good EFC gallery with good sized high quality images, please drop me a line!

Next comes Andromeda. I'd just like to know how how Gene Roddenberry's skeleton knew Kevin Sorbo would be quitting Hercules and want to cut his hair. Just ghostly luck I guess, because the show probably wouldn't work without him. I think the show is really going to kick ass once they get a groove set. Already they've done some great time travel stuff (my favorite sci-fi premise). I found a few more cool sites for this one. There's a cool video preview site with clips from the shows, and The Commonwealth Courier Network has lots of high quality video captures sorted by episode!
